Joey Thigpen Jr. has spent his life in the business, driven by a genuine passion for the work and a deep respect for the legacy his father built. He joined the company full time in 1986 with a commitment to learn every aspect from the ground up, completing a formal apprenticeship and gaining hands-on experience in the field. Joey has always believed that understanding the work at every level is what allows him to lead it well. Over the years, he has guided the company through key moments of growth, including expanding into commercial services and investing in systems that improved how the team serves customers. What defines Joey’s leadership is his focus on people. He values direct relationships, transparency, and making sure every customer feels confident in the work being done. He takes pride in being accessible, often speaking directly with clients, and in leading a company that prioritizes trust, consistency, and doing things the right way every time.
